Thing 9
My first attempt at embedding allowed me to loose the slideshow and then I couldn't find it again. Found this one with basically the same message for me: "How are we preparing our students for the 21st century?" This slideshow as was the first is helping me to realize I have to teach differently then how I was taught!

I've never actually "met" Dr. McLeod, but I've communicated with him through his blog, Twitter, and (believe it or not) by participating in an online fantasy baseball league he organized for "edu-bloggers." Wow, this is really amazing and disturbing. I feel like I will never be able to keep up. More classes like 11 Things will be necessary to keep educators in the know AND be able to utelize the resources ourselves!!
I know what you mean about keeping up. You know we can with a little help from our friends:)
