Thing 8

As I was reviewing what Google Docs can do, I thought about our upcoming Science Fair, and how students save their work at home and then want to bring it in and print at school. I haven't allowed it because of virus threats. Or students would print their rought draft, I would edit, and they would have to print again. Would I be able to set up accounts for them? I could edit and then we could print. What a way to save paper?

I was also thinking about using Google Docs to use during science fair preparation. There are a lot of important docs. the kids need to show their parents but often seem misplaced. I am going to look further into making all my papers on google docs.

It's not as easy with younger students because technically they're not allowed to have their own google account. However, you could have a classroom account that would allow them to upload their docs. The problem would be everyone in class could see everyone else's files too.
